The Start Of Barefoot In Grace

This year has been a whirlwind, God has truly shifted our lives. We are forever changed because of Gods Grace. I can’t wait to sharing it with you!

I have always wanted to start a blog if only to journal our memories for my daughters to look back on when they are older. I have tried to blog before but I couldn't find what made my heart happy. One day I asked God to please help me come up with a name if I was meant to become a blogger. I asked him to fill my heart with the knowledge to be able to blog and inspire or help people along the way, maybe also help heal my soul in return.

One Sunday in church my youngest daughter was running around shoes in hand barefoot in the middle of the church. She was so happy, I’ll never forget the smile on her face that day. She was standing barefoot in the middle of Gods Grace! That’s how my blog was born, Barefoot in Grace. It was so beautiful seeing her run around so freely, in his grace.

When I think of being barefoot in grace, I think of being in front of Jesus with all of my flaws, stripped down to show my true self. Uncovering my heart & giving it to Jesus because he loves me just the way I am. This is my personal journey navigating myself & my family to a Grace-filled life. At this time in my life, I crave a deeper relationship with Jesus, baring my soul to him to become more like him. Jesus also loves you just the way you are, in all of your chaos too!

I have always loved being barefoot, It’s a fun to free feeling to be jumping in puddles barefoot feeling the water under your feet. Jesus wants us to be free. (“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36).

I have big plans to post a lot about my faith, mom life, inspirational quotes, holidays, and so much more. I am not sure where this road will lead me but I am excited to be on it! I hope you stick it out with me while I am getting up and running! It’s going to be an adventure for sure. I can't wait to see where we are in a year!
